
As health and diet become increasingly important in modern society, it is vital that we all know what we put into our bodies. With many food and drink products describe themselves as “fat free”, or “diet” options, the majority of people assume these products to be harmless. This is a big mistake.
Many of the foods and drinks contain high levels of harmful contents such as sugar, preservatives, and even calories.
For example, as diet fizzy drinks are continually perceived as healthy alternatives to their normal counterparts due to the low calories in them, they in fact trick the body to start craving sugar, making it harder to resist that chocolate bar you see next to them in the local shop!
This infographic hopes to educate you on 10 different foods and drinks that we all perhaps neglect to consider being unhealthy, and hopefully change the way you act the next time you are faced with what to buy at the supermarket.
