Most of us felt some sort of stress or anxiety at some point, whether it was rushing for last minute gifts, wrapping them, hosting the holidays, or even dealing with some not so welcome family members. But now it’s time to take a deep breath. All the craziness is behind us and January is the perfect time for renewal… for balance. To calm the mind and spirit and undo the some of the damage we may have done by over indulging (thanks to Aunt Linda’s irresistible pecan pie), carrying some unwanted stress (the never perfect enough gift for ….) and who the heck had time for exercise in the middle of December anyway? I found this infographic at Dansplan.com. I’ve spent a little time bouncing through his blog and find it very informative and I have enjoyed choosing to spend some time there. I’m not endorsing him or his site. I just like his approach to OVERALL health and not just what we put in our bodies. It’s an overall way of life. To be ‘healthy’ doesn’t stop at the food you eat. It also includes daily exercise, proper rest, managing stress, community involvement and personal contact with others. And I think this infographic represents it very well.
